On a spring day in '82, Emory Wentling's father received the call as the top tree planter
on the mountain and rushed into Taos, NM as he was born.
At six months old, his family moved to the Yucatan Peninsula, where he spoke fluent
Spanish and gained an appreciation for Spanish culture.
At age seven, they traveled the west from California, Oregon, to Montana, before settling
in Durango, Co in 1992.
His Mother, a fine artist, influenced him with her paintings and use of beautiful colors.
His father made jewelry in the 1970's, following in his footsteps, together they made
EmorySilver what it is today.
These days, Emory, a husband and father of three boys, spends his free time gardening,
raising chickens, and sharing his love for making fine jewelry with his children.
He's also extremely passionate about self sustainable farming and growing food for his
family and community.

EmorySilver reflects thirty years of jewelry creations and design, keeping the dying art of
stamp work alive, with the ability to pass it on to the next generation.
After twenty years, Emory, is still passionate and excited about the future of his work.
